NEW ORLEANS - Tulane, announced Monday as the number two seed at the 2006 Oxford NCAA Baseball Regional hosted by the University of Mississippi, will receive a limited number of reserved ticket books for the tournament, which will be played June 2-5 at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field in Oxford, Miss.

On Tuesday, May 30, Tulane baseball season ticket holders and current Tulane Athletics Fund donors at the $250 level and above can request to purchase up to two (2) regional ticket books. The books, which include admission to every game of the regional, are $65 each.

Orders for the regional books will be taken from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (extended hours) on Tuesday, May 30. Requests can be made in person at the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office in the James W. Wilson Center or over the phone at 504-861-WAVE.

All customers who request tickets through Tulane will be notified via e-mail as to the status of that request no later than Wednesday morning, May 31. Everyone who orders tickets for the regional must supply a valid e-mail address so that notifications can be made promptly. A credit card number also will be required in order to submit the request.

Requests will be considered based on the following priority:
(1) Tulane baseball season ticket holder AND current TAF donor at $250 and above;
(2) Tulane baseball season ticket holder;
(3) Current TAF donor at $250 and above

Tickets will be available for pick up for those who receive confirmation from the Ticket Office on Thursday, June 1 at the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starting Friday, June 2, tickets will be available for pick up at the Tulane will call area at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.

Although Ole Miss has announced that all reserved seating for the regional is sold out, standing room only ticket books will be available for purchase beginning Tuesday for $50 each. Each book provides admission to every game of the Oxford Regional.

General admission tickets for the standing room area will be available on a game-by-game basis for $12 for adults and $7 for children high school age and younger beginning two hours before game time each day. The standing room only tickets for the 2006 NCAA Oxford Regional can be purchased over the phone by calling the Ole Miss Ticket Office at 662-915-7167.
