2007 (FRESHMAN): Did not play; received a red-shirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterman at Gulf Shores High where he saw action as a wide receiver, cornerback, free safety and quarterback for coach Duane Davis... earned first-team all-county honors his final two prep seasons when he posted a combined 46 catches for 661 yards and 11 touchdowns... as a senior, had 26 catches for 436 yards and seven touchdowns while posting 36 tackles, three interceptions and a fumble recovery... named Baldwin Register Player of the Week after catching seven passes for 97 yards and two scores... also lettered three times in basketball.

PERSONAL: Undecided on a major... born Chandler Hudson Davis on February 9, 1989, in Opelika, Ala.... one of two sons of Clint and Carla Davis... his father played football at Jacksonville State, while his brother, Chase, was a member of the football team at Troy State.
