TULANE: Begins his first playing season.

2007 (FRESHMAN): Did not play; received a red-shirt season... enrolled at Tulane for the spring semester and participated in spring drills as a walk-on.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played one season of football for coach Sam Hill at McMain High School before the season was cancelled because of Hurricane Katrina... relocated to Georgia where he attended Westlake High School... was a two-sport letterwinner at WHS in soccer and tennis... served as the team captain and led the soccer team to a third-place finish in the region... registered 13 goals on the year, including a hat trick, from his striker position and received the school's outstanding player of the year award.

PERSONAL: Majoring in finance... born Charles Alexander Gaspard on February 23, 1988, in New Orleans, La.... the only child of Oscar and Evelina Gaspard.
