TULANE: A two-year letterwinner who has played in 22 career games... career numbers include 29 tackles (19 solo), six stops for lost yardage, three sacks, two forced fumbles and one recovery... moved to linebacker in the fall.

2007 (SOPHOMORE): Saw action in 11 games... did not play against UTEP... was responsible for 17 tackles (12 solo), five takedowns for minus 28 yards, including three quarterback sacks and one forced fumble and recovery... turned a trio of games with three or more tackles including three stops each against SMU and Memphis and four tackles at Army... produced two tackles, including a TFL, and a forced fumble against Mississippi State... also came up with sacks against Army and SMU.

2006 (FRESHMAN): Played in 11 games and missed the UTEP game due to injury... notched 12 tackles (seven solo), one stop for lost yardage, one forced fumble and one pass breakup... made his first career tackle at No. 10 LSU... registered two stops vs. SMU, Army, Southern Miss and Tulsa... came up with a stop for lost yardage at Tulsa... forced one fumble vs. SMU.

HIGH SCHOOL: A finalist for the Houston Touchdown Club's Defensive Player of the Year award... an all-Greater Houston choice as a senior... earned all-district honors in 2004 and 2005... his senior season, made 150 tackles with seven tackles for loss and five quarterback sacks... also blocked three punts and scored one touchdown off a blocked punt... Cy-Creek won the district and bi-district championships in his senior season, compiling an 8-4 record in Class 5A... also lettered in baseball... qualified for the Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: A finance major... born Michael Logan Kelley on January 21, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas... one of three children of Mike and Terrie Kelley... named to the 2007 and 2008 C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and to Tulane's 3.0 Club.
