2003: Played in all 12 games as the Wave's long snapper for both field goals and PATs. Collected four tackles (two solo) on the year, including a pair against Memphis (10/25). 2002: Played in all 13 games as the Wave's snapper. Recorded solo tackles against East Carolina (9/14) and TCU (11/9). Alos recovered a fumble against TCU. 2001: Did not see any game action. 2000: Redshirted the season after walking on to the Green Wave team. HIGH SCHOOL: A 2000 graduate of Brother Martin High School, where he lettered in football and wrestling. Earned all-district and all-city honors, as well as academic all-state recognition. A three-year starter for Coach Mark Songy. As a senior, allowed zero sacks and helped the Crusaders' running back rush for over 2,000 yards. PERSONAL: Full name is Lane Lawrence Macaluso. Born January 26, 1982 in Metairie, La. The son of Diane and Larry Macaluso. The youngest of six children. A double major in finance and legal studies. Earned C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition for each of the last three years (2001-02, 2002-03, 2003-04). |
