HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterman at Upson-Lee High where he played tight end and defensive line for coach Eddie Payne.

PERSONAL: Undecided on a major... born Joshua Caleb Smith on December 6, 1988, in Thomaston, Ga.... the only child of Greg and Beverly Smith... his father played basketball at St. Andrews College, while his uncles, Willie Smith and Shelius Smith, played football at Morris Brown College and Furman University, respectively.
