NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Patrick Ramsey threw three touchdown passes to Adrian Burnette in Tulane's 37-14 victory over Memphis on Saturday night.

The Green Wave won their third straight to finish 6-5 overall and 3-4 in Conference USA. The Tigers lost their fifth straight to finish 4-7 and 2-5.

Tulane, which allowed 724 yards - the most in school history - a week earlier against Navy, held Memphis to 301 yards, the fewest the Green Wave allowed this season, and forced six turnovers.

Ramsey completed 29 of 56 passes for 360 yards. Burnette finished the season with 14 touchdown receptions, breaking Marc Zeno's school record by one. Ramsey caught seven passes for 122 yards, and Terrell Harris had 10 receptions for 100 yards.

The Green Wave's Mewelde Moore rushed for 104 yards on 23 carries, gaining more yards than any of the Tigers' previous 10 opponents. Arkansas State rushed for 102 yards in the only game in which Memphis had allowed 100 yards rushing to a team.

Tulane appeared in control of the game until Memphis safety Idrees Bashir recovered Brant Hocke's fumble and ran 66 yards for a touchdown that pulled the Tigers to 17-7 with 9:03 left in the third quarter.

Ramsey threw a 15-yard touchdown to Burnette with 4:54 left in the third quarter to make it 24-7.

Quentin Brown returned an interception 41 yards for a touchdown 58 seconds later to increase Tulane's lead to 31-7.

Seth Marler's 22-yard field goal with 46 seconds left in the third quarter and his 48-yarder with 8:34 left in the game upped it to 37-7.

Memphis completed the scoring on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Neil Suber to Ryan Johnson.
