As Tulane's winter sports teams begin competition, Green Wave baseball is gearing up for the spring and our second season in Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
Last spring, a record number of Green Wave fans showed their support for our baseball student-athletes by purchasing season tickets for the inaugural year at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Our student-athletes and coaches were encouraged by your support, which helped create an outstanding home field advantage that helped our team reach the NCAA Regional tournament.
As we enter our second year at home in Greer Field at Turchin Stadium you have a chance to support a truly special group of young men as they compete for a chance to return Green Wave baseball to Omaha! Our 2009 home schedule opens on February 20th against Le Moyne at 6:00 PM, and includes home match-ups with USC, Houston, East Carolina, UNO, and LSU.
Now more than ever, we appreciate your renewed commitment to our student-athletes through the Tulane Athletics Fund (TAF) and the purchase of season tickets. As you know, TAF donors have access to the best seats at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Additionally, this year TAF donors have an opportunity to "double their impact" through the TAF Nationwide Challenge. Every new or increased dollar donated to TAF will be matched in support of Tulane student-athletes.
